AIR IS MUSIC

We spend our whole lives borrowing air.

We pull it in, hold it for a moment, and give it back. Somewhere between the inhale and the exhale, we have the ability to turn that air into something else. Sound is really just air given direction.

I started thinking about what sound can do to us mentally. How one song can slow your thoughts down. How a certain voice can bring you back to a moment. How a melody can shift your entire mood without changing anything around you. That's where “Air Is Music” comes from. The idea that we can grasp something we can't even see, borrow it for a few seconds, and release it back into the world as something that can make another person feel better. This statement collection is my interpretation of that transformation.

Air becomes breath.

Breath becomes sound.

Sound becomes feeling.

And sometimes, feeling is exactly what the mind needs to breathe again.

WHAT WE CARRY

This is a reflection on the emotions, experiences, and moments that shape us.

Built on a deep black foundation, each painting allows vibrant layers of color to emerge with greater intensity.

The contrast is intentional; showing that even in our darkest moments, there's still room for growth, beauty, and hope.

These works invite you to slow down and reflect on what you carry each day. While everyone's story is different, the invisible weight we carry is something we all have in common.

My hope is that these pieces create a moment of pause, connection, reflection and maybe even, a reminder to breathe.

PRIMARY BREATH

This collection returns to the beginning.

Red, blue, and yellow.

Primary colors form the foundation of the color spectrum. From this minimal set, an entire world emerges. Breath works the same way.

It is the simplest act we have, yet everything in life expands from it. Often unnoticed, but always essential.

By limiting the palette to these primary colors, the work reflects that same principle of origin. Structure born from simplicity.

Just as the spectrum grows from three colors, our entire life begins with a single breath.

THE EARTH BREATHS TOO

This collection is a visual meditation on our relationship with the Earth - not as something beneath us, but as something alive, responsive, and essential to our existence. Through layered earth tones and textures that echo soil, clay, stone, and ash, this collection honors the quiet power of the ground we walk on and it’s ability to hold us, sustain us, and remind us to slow down.

Each piece is a breath, a moment of stillness, reflecting the invisible synergy between humans and the planet.

This body of work asks us to notice what we've forgotten: that the Earth exhales with us, and in every inhale that we take, there is gratitude owed to the ground we stand on.

This is an offering in color and form.

A thank you to what is steady, what is sacred, and what continues to hold space for our becoming.

BREATH WEST

This series is a study in stillness.

Each painting is an iteration of breath-measured, intentional.

The work slows things down, focusing on space, balance, and the subtle shifts that happen when attention is sustained. These paintings come from a daily practice of noticing.

Noticing how presence changes over time, how calm can be built rather than found, and how small adjustments can carry weight. There's no narrative being pushed, only an invitation to pause and stay with what's in front of you.

The work exists as a reminder that stillness is active. That being present requires intention, a quiet invitation to slow down, feel where you are, and recognize that this moment is already enough.
