My work explores breathing, anxiety, and the delicate balance between them. I describe this relationship as “overwhelming controlled chaos.” The space where calm and turmoil coexist within the everyday human experience.

Through layers of paint, I translate my thoughts, emotions, and experiences into visual expressions that invite viewers to pause, reflect, and connect with something within themselves.

While I do not come from a traditional background in art education, my experience as a student and apprentice across various art forms, along with my transition to full-time artistry in 2022, has shaped the way I approach my practice.

I hope to use my journey not only to create, but to encourage emerging artists to recognize the value of dedication, resourcefulness, entrepreneurship, and staying committed to their own authentic path.

KashesCollection is named after my son, Louie Kash. It serves as a personal reminder of the love, purpose, and dedication behind everything I create. He is part of my “why.” A constant reminder to keep building, keep creating, and keep making space for a life rooted in reflection, expression, and possibility.

I have a set of personal goals and one of them is to continue growing as an artist and establish a meaningful artistic presence in the Midwest, where I am from, while continuing to build a legacy beyond what I believe is possible.
